Daily SPF 50+ and trigger avoidance during the course are essential.

Avoid all direct sun exposure on the treated area for at least 2 weeks, and use SPF 50+ daily indefinitely. Sun is the strongest single trigger for rosacea flares — it both worsens rosacea and can trigger post-inflammatory pigmentation in skin. Long-term sun protection is essential to maintain the laser result.

For best results, your practitioner may recommend specific products to use between sessions:

Avoid: alcohol-based toners, harsh scrubs, strong AHAs, undiluted essential oils, fragranced products, and any product that a stinging when applied.

If you develop persistent redness or swelling beyond 48 hours, signs of infection (increasing redness, warmth, pus, fever), unusual blistering, or any other concerns, contact the clinic on .
